City of Everett Food Resources
Hot Meals in November
- Location: Connolly Center (90 Chelsea Street, Everett
- Dates: Starting Monday, November 3
- Hours:
Mondays at 4:30 PM – Massimino’s (pasta meals)
Fridays at 3:00 PM – North Shore Community Church & AWMI (protein + starch + veggie meals) - Details: Grab-and-go meals for up to 200 Everett residents.
- Registration: First come, first served.
Holiday Assistance Program
- Registration window: November 3 – November 20
- What it provides: Curated Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes. Families with children can also apply for toy assistance.

City Grocery Box Distribution
The City of Everett is partnering with Morrissey Market and Katsiroubas Bros. to provide grocery boxes two times in November.
- First distribution: For income-eligible individuals and families.
- Second distribution: Based on approved Holiday Assistance Program applications.
Holiday Sit-Down Meal
- Event: Everett First Responders Community Thanksgiving Dinner (formerly MassBadge)
- Location: Connolly Center
- Date & Time: Monday, November 24, 2025; 4 PM – 8 PM

Support for the Recovery Community
Gift cards are available for individuals in recovery who were affected by SNAP/EBT benefit loss or delay. Proof of SNAP participation (for example, showing an EBT card) is required.

Community Fridge
- Location: Between West Street and Wellington Ave, Everett, MA
- Hours: 24/7 access
- Details: Public community fridge. Usually stocked monthly with produce, pantry staples, grains, and dairy. For November it will be stocked weekly. Funded by Citizens Foundation Grant support.

- What they offer: Fresh produce, pantry staples, and a free clothing boutique. Serves Everett and the North Shore area. In partnership with FoodForFree.org.
Bread of Life – Family Care Pantry
- Location: The Family Church, 1691 Revere Beach Parkway, Everett, MA
- Hours: Mondays, 4 PM – 7 PM
- Details: Open to anyone in any community. No application required.
Bread of Life – Lafayette School Distribution
- Location: Lafayette School, 117 Edith Street, Everett, MA
- Hours: Thursdays, 3:30 PM – 5 PM
- How it works: Grab-and-go by drive-thru or walk-up.
- Eligibility: Everett residents only. An application is required before receiving food.
Grocery Delivery Program (Seniors & Mobility)
- Who it’s for: Seniors age 60+ and residents with mobility limitations or disabilities.
- What it provides: Weekly, biweekly, or monthly grocery deliveries to your home.
- How to get info: Contact the Everett Council on Aging to ask about eligibility and sign-up.

Healthy Incentives Program (HIP)
If you have at least $0.01 on your EBT card, your HIP benefit is still active.
HIP lets you use your EBT card at participating farm stands and farmers markets
to get extra fruits and vegetables.
GoPuff SNAP Relief Program (November 2025)
What it is: GoPuff is offering $50 in free groceries to SNAP EBT customers in November 2025, plus free delivery fees. The company has committed up to $10 million total in relief to help families affected by SNAP delays.
How to access:
- Download or open the GoPuff app and add your SNAP EBT card as a payment method.
- Use these codes:
Nov 1–15: SNAPRELIEF1
Nov 16–30: SNAPRELIEF2
- Each code gives a $25 credit for EBT-eligible groceries
and free delivery fees on that order. - Tips and any non-EBT items can be paid separately with another card.
What you can order: Fresh produce, milk, eggs, bread, protein, pantry staples, and household essentials.
DoorDash SNAP & Project DASH
SNAP EBT on DoorDash: DoorDash now accepts SNAP/EBT for grocery delivery from certain participating stores (for example: ALDI, Safeway, and other approved retailers in select areas).
How to use:
- Open the DoorDash app and add your EBT card to your payment methods.
- Search for stores labeled “SNAP/EBT eligible.”
- EBT covers eligible groceries; delivery fees are paid separately with another card.
Project DASH: DoorDash also partners with food pantries to deliver pantry boxes directly to people who cannot travel to pick up food.

Important SNAP Benefit Updates
Because of ongoing federal budget uncertainty, some households may see delays in November SNAP payments. This does not mean you’ve lost eligibility. Other programs are still active:

The Square Deli (Everett)
The Square Deli has offered support to anyone in Everett who is having trouble with SNAP or suddenly can’t afford groceries. They have said they will “help where we can, no questions asked.” You can message them directly to request short-term food support for you or your family.
